- The objective of the project is to contribute to the preservation of the environment by educating population, and raising awareness of the citizens about the proper use and protection of forests and its resources.
- The results of the project are direct education on solving the issue of proper use of forest resources and raising the level of awareness of the target groups in Berane.
- The activities implemented include:
- Workshop “Use and disposal of forest and wood waste” orgsnized,
- Education of elementary school students on the topic of forest protection,
- Education of entrepreneurs and wood processors in the field of “Public procurement”,
- Activities on how to obtain a license for professional education in the field of wood processing.
- Dissemination and promotion was carried out by several campaigns / shows on local radio. Also, within the project some 1,500 flyers, 3,000 information leaflets and 100 promotive T-shirts were distributed.
- The total value of the project is EUR 15,154.20. The project was financed by the Ministry of Economy (65%) and co-financed the Association (35%).
