History
Association of woodworkers Berane (Association) was founded on February 11, 2015.year in Berane.
From its foundation until now, the Association has gained a reputation as a leading organization that gathers key actors of the wood industry in Berane and beyond, with the aim of strengthening competitiveness, innovation and sustainable development of this strategic sector.
The initiative to establish the Association came from the need for greater cooperation between companies, modernization of technologies and improvement of access to markets, as a response to the growing demands and challenges of the global economy.
From its beginning, the Association has been committed to creating an environment where innovation and sustainable development are at the center of business strategies. Over the years, numerous projects aimed at improving production processes, optimizing resources and implementing the latest technological solutions have been implemented.
The association has become a catalyst for the growth and development of small and medium-sized enterprises, creating a platform for networking, knowledge exchange and cooperation with domestic and international partners.
Today, the Association plays a key role in positioning the Montenegrin wood industry on the local and regional market. Its continuous commitment to strengthening competitiveness, promoting environmentally responsible practices and improving business efficiency makes the Association a leader in the field of wood processing in Berane and beyond.
- Gathering of wood processors from Berane and the northern region of Montenegro in order to support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the field of wood processing;
- Creating conditions for a better supply of raw materials (wood for production) to wood processors;
- Joint participation through the Association in achieving and protecting economic interests and business improvement;
- Better product placement and business network expansion;
- Advocating for the solution of specific problems in the field of wood processing and conquering new markets;
- Improvement of the production process and transition to final production;
- Introduction and monitoring of quality standards;
