Within the project “We will learn to make furniture”, which is the Joint EU-MNE Program for employment, education and social protection implemented by the Montenegrin Wood Cluster and the Association, a Round table was organized on the topic “Analysis of the situation and plans in forestry and the wood industry “.
At the round table, the project manager, Ms. Mensura Nuhođzić Ferlin, presented an analysis of the situation in the wood industry in Montenegro with special emphasis on the import and export of wooden furniture, as well as the biggest problems faced the wood industry in our country.
Among the many participants, Mr Goran Đalović, director of the Directorate for Wood Industry in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, also attended the Round table. He pointed out that a new Strategy for Forestry and Wood Industry will be developed in the coming year and he expects that the development directions of the wood industry will be guided in the direction of greater finalization of products and improvement of production.
