By implementing the activity “Woodworking for rapid economic development – Accelerate”, we are working intensively on improving the conditions for socio-economic development in Berane, through increasing the employability and social inclusion of less employable people.
The NGO Association of Berane Wood Processors implements a project whose activities are implemented within the grant scheme “Strengthening civil society to support the sustainable socio-economic development of Montenegro”, financed by the European Union, co-financed by the Ministry of Public Administration, and implemented by Help and Juventas.
The project seeks to influence the improvement of the living and working conditions of young people and women, as well as the necessity of creating new opportunities for the development of more favorable economic conditions, by connecting the existing supply and demand for labor in the field of wood processing.
As the implementation of the project is coming to an end, on Thursday, February 27, Danijela Armuš, a representative of Help, visited the Association of Wood Processors Berana, in order to see the progress in the implementation.
To the satisfaction of all stakeholders in the project, during the first monitoring visit, it was established that all activities are being implemented according to the planned dynamics and in accordance with the donor’s rules, which will successfully contribute to the achievement of the project’s goal.
