The Wood Processing Association of Berane successfully organized the final conference of the project “Faster Economic Development through Wood Processing – Accelerate”, which took place on April 30, 2025, at the restaurant “Gastri Kutak” in Berane.

The conference was attended by numerous guests, representatives of partner organizations, institutions, as well as project participants. During the opening remarks by the organizer and cluster founder Mladen Šćekić, followed by a presentation of the project results by project coordinator Miloje Bakić, attendees had the opportunity to learn about the positive impact the project has had on employment and education of youth and women in the wood processing sector in northern Montenegro.

Representatives of the Help organization also shared their views and expressed support for the project, after which an open discussion and exchange of opinions took place among participants.

The conference concluded with a joint lunch and informal networking, further strengthening collaboration among local stakeholders and project partners.

This project was implemented within the framework of the program “Strengthening Civil Society to Support Sustainable Socio-Economic Development in Northern Montenegro”, funded by the European Union, co-financed by the Ministry of Public Administration, and implemented by the organizations Help and Juventas.
