Representatives of the main office of Help Montenegro, together with colleagues from Bonn, visited the Wood Processing Association and discussed the project “Faster Economic Development Through Wood Processing – Step Up”, which is being implemented in northern Montenegro. During the visit, they had the opportunity to learn more about the implementation process, the challenges faced by beneficiaries, and the concrete results achieved on the ground.

The project “Faster Economic Development Through Wood Processing – Step Up” is being implemented within the broader initiative “Strengthening Civil Society to Support Sustainable Socio-Economic Development in Northern Montenegro,” funded by the European Union and implemented by Help and Juventas.

The aim of this initiative is to strengthen the capacities of local communities and create conditions for sustainable economic growth by supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly in sectors with development potential, such as wood processing. The project promotes social inclusion, local employment, and sustainable resource management.
