Completed third training module: Labor market and labor rights

We are pleased to inform you that the third training module entitled “Labor market and labor rights” has been successfully completed, implemented as part of a project aimed at empowering young people and increasing their employability.

During this module, the participants had the opportunity to acquire practical and useful knowledge about the functioning of the labor market in Montenegro, with a special focus on deficient occupations and employment opportunities. Special attention is paid to employment rights, including the right to pay, rest, safety at work and sick leave.

Through interactive work, topics such as types of employment contracts, rights and obligations of employees and employers, as well as recognition and response to discrimination and mobbing in the workplace were covered. Participants are additionally empowered to recognize irregularities and know who they can turn to for help and protection of their rights.

By completing this module, participants improved their understanding of the work environment, gained greater security and developed an awareness of the importance of protecting their rights in the labor market.

The training is implemented as part of the project “Overcoming unemployment among NEET youth – #fromNEETtoCOMPETE”, which is implemented by the Berana Wood Processing Association, with the support of relevant partners and donors.
